Our programs and activities:
AID's programs and activities are shaped on the premises of necessity, effectiveness and sustainability.
Therefore, our activities correspond to 3 main sectors of reform and development relevant for Romania
1. Institutional reform. Central and local government reform. The activities are focused on: raising the transparency and accountability of the central and local government, producing analyses and research studies regarding political and institutional reform, particularly in the fields of political accountability, justice and integrity etc.
2. Political reform and leadership development. AID supports the reform of the political system in Romania. Therefore, we consider important to enhance the reform of the parliamentary system as well as the internal reform of the political parties through active measures of enhancing dialogue between citizens and elected officials, citizens and stakeholders' participation in decision-making processes, engendering local and regional development policies. AID also supports, through several programs,the development of the young generations of leaders in politics, NGOs and mass media.3. Promoting Corporate Social Responsibility and Community Development. Through our programs, we support the application of CSR by companies in Romania, focusing on environment protection and local community development.
